Acoustic Panels
Acoustic panels are sound absorbing panels placed on walls or ceilings to control and reduce noise, eliminate echo and control comb filtering in a room. The objective is to enhance the properties of sound by improving sound quality with sound absorbing panels. Often used to treat recording studio acoustics, church acoustics, home theater acoustics, restaurant acoustics, and listening rooms, the purpose of acoustic panels is to reduce, but not entirely eliminate, resonance within the room. Acoustic panels differ from Bass Traps in that they deal more with the mid and high frequencies in a room. Sound absorption is different than soundproofing, which is typically used to keep sound from escaping a room.
Echoing sound can often give the impression that there is an unpleasant background noise. Due to the increase in the volume of the sound. Rooms with an excessively high resonance result in an irrevocable loss of intelligibility, which leads to tiredness and lack of concentration for their occupants.
Regardless of the space concerned, acoustic treatment is effective immediately if it is carried out properly (following a correct assessment). Please feel free to contact us for more information.
